SCONES1.75 cups all purpose flour2.25 tsp baking powder 1 tbsp sugar 1/2 tsp salt 4 tbsp butter 2 eggs 1/3 cup cream Beat eggs and add cream. Mix dry ingredients in kitchen aid. Add butter in small pieces and add eggs and cream. Beat until mixed; do not over mix. Roll out into rectangle, cut into triangles. Bake 450 for 15 minutes if unfrozen or 400 for 30 minutes if frozen; bake until slightly brown. Makes 12 small scones. It would be a good idea to make in larger quantities; 2 of these scones is a little small for one breakfast. |
