ZUPPA PAVESE

broth
1 clove garlic
slices of bread
Parmigiano or other cheese
egg

Put garlic in hot broth.  Shred cheese, place on bread and toast.  Fry egg in olive oil.  Place cooked egg on top of a slice of bread and place in the bottom of a flat soup bowl.  Cover with broth.

Each person gets one slice of bread and one egg.  One clove of garlic is enough for a few people.
